| dc.description | This work studies the literary topos of the Cornucopia in a Colombian national patrimony monument - the Heroic Poem to San Ignacio de Loyola from the Jesuit Creole Hernando Domínguez Camargo - This epic-hagiographic poem display a few death natures of natural abundance that shows a veiled reference to the marginalized ethnic groups that composed the colonial society. This study identifies the specific Creole character of this representation, showing that these scenes celebrate on the one hand the pre-Columbian native and by the other deny the rights and powers of their descendents in the seventieth century, which offers a cultural synthesis model that, prefigure certain discrimination politics that still continues today in Colombia. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo examina el topos literario de la Cornucopia en un monumento del patrimonio nacional de Colombia — el Poema Heroico a San Ignacio de Loyola del jesuita criollo Hernando Domínguez Camargo —. Este poema épico-hagiográfico despliega una serie de naturalezas muertas de abundancia natural que hacen referencia velada a grupos étnicos marginados que componían la sociedad colonial. El presente estudio identifica el carácter específicamente criollo de esta representación, mostrando que estas escenas celebran al indígena precolombino a la ver que niegan los derechos y poderes de sus descendientes en el siglo XVII lo cual ofrece un modelo de síntesis cultural que prefigura cierta política de discriminación que continúa en Colombia hoy en día. | es-ES |
