dc.description	This article shows the anti-Communist image present in the French Diplomatic Documents (between 1945-1952), principally as written by the French Ambassador in Colombia, Jaques Lecompte. The article demonstrates whow the anti-Communist argument was utilized to explain Colombian social movements and, particularly, the assassination of Jorge Eliecér Gaitán in 1948. Vega bases his arguments on the "French Diplomatic Archives" which have only recently been opened to researchers.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo muestra la imagen anti-comunista presente en los documentos franceses diplomáticos (entre 1945 y 1952), principalmente los escritos por el Embajador francés en Colombia, Jaques Lecompte. Este artículo demuestra cómo el argumento anti-comunista se utilizó para explicar los movimientos sociales colombianos, y particularmente el asesinato de Jorge Eliecer Gaitán en 1948. Vega basa su argumento en los “Archivos Diplomáticos Franceses” que solo recientemente han sido abiertos para los investigadores.	es-ES
