dc.description	On the base of a process of historic revision, started by global history, with this study I want to answer to the following question: Can we directly compare the European domains of the Spanish monarchy with the Indian ones? In order to provide an answer, this work attempts to make a comparison between the viceroyalty of Sicily and Peru: two cases that offer numerous opportunities to highlight the common values that made a coherent ideological whole of the Catholic Monarchy. However, given the size of the matter, it will not be possible to deeply analyse all the common aspects between this two cases. For this reason, after a general overview, our focus will be on the public entry of the viceroy: the most important ceremony of all those reserved to the new official during his arrival.	en-US
dc.description	Sobre la base del proceso de revisión historiográfica introducido por la global history este trabajo quiere contestar a la pregunta: ¿se pueden comparar directamente los dominios europeos con los territorios indianos de la Monarquía? Para hacerlo, el artículo propone una primera comparación entre los virreinatos de Sicilia y Perú, dos realidades que ofrecen numerosas oportunidades para intentar localizar aquellos principales valores que hicieron de la Monarquía católica un todo. Sin embargo, dada la magnitud del problema no será posible analizar en profundidad la totalidad de los aspectos comunes a las dos realidades. Por este motivo, después de haber planteado un panorama general, la atencion se enfocará sobre la entrada pública del virrey, la ceremonia más importante entre la constelación general de ritos destinatos al nuevo funcionario en su arribo.	es-ES
