| dc.description | Aquest article analitza la constitució de coneixements hàptics entre un grup de pescadors i l’etnògrafa, com a element central en la comprensió d’una geografia sensorial durant el treball de camp dins d’un moll industrial pesquer al port de Mazatlán, situat al nord-oest de Mèxic. Busca abonar els estudis dels sentits i les emocions des d’una anàlisi sobre el paper que té el coneixement hàptic i el seu entrellaçament entre l’humà i el no humà en la producció d’una geografia marítima particular. Fa una reflexió sobre la generació d’informació en el procés de recerca, la qual està interconnectada a certs artefactes, com ara la càmera fotogràfica, que contribueixen a la generació de vincles afectius centrals per endinsar-se en una comunitat. El text apel·la a una visió per part del lector per sentir mitjançant les fotografies i la descripció de l’autora, tant els desafiaments de l’entrada al camp com les experiències sensorials dels pescadors amb les formes de materialitat que fan del moll un espai important per comprendre els sabers hàptics d’una cultura marítima particular. | ca-ES |
| dc.description | This article analyses the structure of haptic skills among a group of fishers, and the ethnographer as a central element in the comprehension of a sensory geography during field research in an industrial fishing dock in the port of Mazatlán, located in northwestern Mexico. It is an attempt to add to the studies of the senses and the emotions from an analysis regarding the role that haptic knowledge has, and its intertwining between the human and non-human in the production of a particular maritime geography. There is a reflection on the generation of information in the process of research; this is interconnected to certain artefacts, such as the camera, which contribute to the creation of emotional central links in order to penetrate a community. The text evokes a vision on the part of the reader, so that it is possible to feel, through the photographs and the description of the author, both the challenges of entering the research field and the sensory experiences of the fishers, with the forms of materiality which make the dock an important space for understanding the haptic knowledge of a particular maritime culture. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo se analiza la constitución de conocimientos hápticos entre un grupo de pescadores y la etnógrafa como un elemento central en la comprensión de una geografía sensorial durante el trabajo de campo dentro de un muelle industrial pesquero en el puerto de Mazatlán, ubicado al noroeste de México. Se busca enriquecer los estudios de los sentidos y las emociones desde un análisis sobre el papel que tiene el conocimiento háptico y su entrelazamiento entre lo humano y no-humano en la producción de una geografía marítima particular. Al respecto, se efectúa una reflexión en torno a la generación de información en el proceso de investigación, la cual está interconectada con ciertos artefactos como la cámara fotográfica que contribuyen al establecimiento de vínculos afectivos fundamentales para adentrarse en una comunidad. El texto apela al lector o lectora a sentir a través de las fotografías y la descripción de la autora tanto los desafíos de la entrada a campo como las experiencias sensoriales de los pescadores con las formas de materialidad que hacen del muelle un espacio esencial para comprender los saberes hápticos de una cultura marítima particular. | es-ES |
