Transcultural Narrations between Belonging and Distance” is a must-have for those who are interested in the nexus between migration and emotion. Apart from the pleasurable read, it is a seminal analysis on the subject still lacking academic attention. The main research question is what opportunities of handling their emotions migrants choose in order to be able to act in the challenging context of the arrival country. Narraciones transculturales entre pertenencia y distancia), recientemente publicada, es un texto imprescindible para quienes estén interesados en el vínculo entre la migración y la emoción. Además de ser de amena lectura, es un análisis seminal sobre un tema que todavía no concita la atención de la academia. La principal pregunta de investigación del trabajo es cuáles oportunidades de manejo de sus emociones eligen los migrantes para poder interactuar en el desafiante contexto del país de llegada. Lo innovador de esta investigación radica específicamente en la mirada no patologizante sobre la forma en que los migrantes lidian con sus emociones, enfocándose no solo en los aspectos negativos de la regulación emocional, sus fallas y el sufrimiento de los migrantes, sino además explorando las posibles formas autónomas y creativas de lidiar con las emociones en el contexto de las nuevas expectativas y demandas que se hacen a su comportamiento.	es-ES
