dc.description	This paper presents some thoughts about the development of anthropology in Brazil and the actual scene of this discipline in this Country. It also analyses the relationship between Brazilian anthropology and other peripheral anthropologies, more specifically Latin-American ones. Despite our geographical, political, and linguistic proximity, the influence of Latin-American anthropologies is still reduced in the formation of Brazilian anthropologists. Thus, this article asks some questions concerning the motivations bringing us to such fragmented and diffuse knowledge of the anthropological production in Latin America, despite our geopolitical proximity and some dialogical spaces constructed in the last years (like the Mercosul Anthropology Meeting and the Latin American Anthropology Association).	en-US
dc.description	Este texto presenta algunas reflexiones sobre la formación de la antropología en Brasil y de la panorámica actual de la disciplina en el país. También analiza la relación de la antropología brasileña con las demás antropologías periféricas, especialmente la latinoamericana, pues no obstante la proximidad geográfica, política y lingüística, la presencia de las antropologías latinoamericanas es aún muy reducida en la formación del antropólogo brasileño. Así, este artículo hace algunos cuestionamientos sobre los motivos que llevan a ese conocimiento fragmentado y disperso de la producción antropológica en América Latina, a pesar de nuestra proximidad geopolítica y de algunos espacios de diálogo construidos en los últimos años (como la Reunión de Antropología del Mercosur y la Asociación Latinoamericana de Antropología).	es-ES
