| dc.description | The concept of human development emerged closely linked to biology. In the sixteenth century it was considered the human embryo carrying a miniature man. In the nineteenth century the influence of Darwin, the importance of genetics was an starting point, but development was defined from the interaction with the environment. Subsequently, the strong influence of the notion of temporality linked to the concept of development, allowed the emergence of deterministic visions that showed fixed stages of change. Currently, development concept is linked to emergency, variability an non-lineality.. The article examines how in the XXI century, notions of development coexist, apparently overcome, but which are clearly reflected in the social praxis. The Colombian social scene serve as a benchmark to reflect the different concepts and praxis. | en-US |
| dc.description | El concepto de desarrollo humano surge muy ligado a la biología. En el siglo XVI se consideraba al embrión humano portador de un hombre en miniatura (El homúnculo). Con la influencia de Darwin, se destacó la importancia de la genética como punto de partida pero, el desarrollo se consideró como un proceso de interacción entre lo biológico y el ambiente. Posteriormente, la fuerte influencia de la noción de temporalidad ligada al concepto de desarrollo, permitió el surgimiento de visiones deterministas que mostraron etapas fijas de cambio determinadas por la maduración. Actualmente, se habla de emergencia, variabilidad y no linealidad, para referirse al desarrollo. Este artículo busca mostrar, cómo en el siglo XXI, coexisten nociones de desarrollo, aparentemente superadas históricamente, pero que se reflejan claramente en la praxis social. El escenario colombiano servirá como punto de referencia para reflejar estos argumentos. | es-ES |
