In Almeria, Spain, sex work is performed mainly by foreign migrant women, in different contexts and scenarios of prostitution, which spend their lives under poor housing conditions and poor access to health and social services in the province. This article is the result of an ethnographic study in which the main objective was to determine and carry out an analysis of how gender systems and health models are articulated through the process of health and disease in the exercise of prostitution and its effects on the bio-psycho-social health of foreign migrant women and social integration.En Almería, España, el trabajo sexual es realizado principalmente por mujeres migrantes extranjeras, en diferentes contextos y escenarios de prostitución, donde transcurren sus vidas, bajo deficientes condiciones habitacionales y con dificultad de acceso a servicios de salud y sociales dentro la provincia. Además de enfrentarse a una actividad altamente estigmatizada por la sociedad. Este artículo es el resultado de una investigación etnográfica en la cual, el objetivo central ha sido conocer y realizar un análisis, de cómo se articulan los sistemas de género y los modelos de salud, a través del proceso de salud y enfermedad dentro del ejercicio de la prostitución y sus efectos en la salud bio-psico-social de las mujeres migrantes extranjeras e integración social.
