dc.description	In the research undertaken with a sample of 408 higher education students we resorted to the Scale of Strategies for the Reconciliation of Professional and Family Life to assess the variables Reconciliation through Concession” and “Reconciliation through Negotiation”. It was observed that the study participants tend to agree with negotiation as the strategy for reconciliation; however there are statistically significant differences with regard to gender and political orientation. In this sense, men and people with right wing or centre-right wing political orientation tend to disagree less with concession as a strategy for reconciling professional and family life.	en-US
dc.description	Na investigação empreendida junto de uma amostra de 408 estudantes do Ensino Superior recorreu-se à Escala de Estratégias de Conciliação da Vida Familiar e Profissional de para avaliar as variáveis Conciliação através da Concessão e Conciliação através da Negociação. Observouse que os/as participantes do estudo tendem a concordar com a negociação como estratégia para a conciliação, contudo verificam-se diferenças estatisticamente significativas no que diz respeito às variáveis sexo e orientação política. Neste sentido, são os homens e as pessoas com orientação política de direita/centro direita que tendem a discordar menos da concessão como estratégia de conciliação entre vida profissional e familiar.	es-ES
