This is a detailed analysis of a Somatization Disorder case that is associated with workplace harassment. For the clinical evaluation and diagnostic process some psychometric tests were applied, the BDI (Beck, 1973), the Cisneros Scale (Fidalgo and Piñuel, 2004), and the MOS (Sherbourne & Stewart, 1991). These tests are used to assess depression, the severity of workplace harassment, and perceived social support. Unstructured interview and the review of the medical history were also performed. The test’s results showed that the patient had symptoms of Somatization Disorder in comorbidity with a Major Depression Disorder, Anxiety, and Personality Changes after psychiatric illness. En este caso se hace un análisis en profundidad de un trastorno de somatización relacionado con acoso laboral. Para el proceso clínico de evaluación y diagnóstico se aplicaron pruebas psicométricas como el BDI (Beck, 1973), la Escala Cisneros (Fidalgo y Piñuel, 2004) y el MOS (Sherbourne y Stewart, 1991), los cuales evalúan depresión, severidad del acoso laboral y apoyo social percibido. También se usaron la entrevista no estructurada y se revisó la historia clínica. Los resultados mostraron que la paciente presenta un cuadro clínico de somatización en comorbilidad con trastorno depresivo mayor, síntomas ansiosos y transformación persistente de la personalidad tras enfermedad psiquiátrica, síntomas que se exacerban a partir de un evento estresante de acoso laboral el cual no ha sido resuelto.
