| dc.description | In Colombia, at the end of the 20th century, the interest for social appropriation of knowledge –asc, according to its initials in Spanish, emerged within the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation –sncti, according to its initials in Spanish. From its mention by the Misión de Sabios (1995); without debates about notion, operative form, foundation and scope; without referents that would allow us to understand what it was about, nor what was intended for, the asc became a banal and inevitable speech to be used in the guidelines for science, technology and innovation, evident in the national policy and strategy of the ascti. Relevant questions, about its epistemology, conception, operational form, meaning and clarity about links with approaches that assume knowledge as a commodity and those that profess their democratization, remain unanswered. Particularly, during similar conceptions and practices such as social circulation of knowledge –csc, according to its initials in Spanish, and social introduction of results –isr, according to its initials in Spanish. In this context, the asc is based on research results as a strategy to strengthen social intervention by making knowledge socially useful, promoting its democratization and projecting its potential to contribute to the development of including democracy. | dc.description | En Colombia, finalizando el siglo xx, en el Sistema Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación —sncti surgió el interés por la apropiación social de conocimiento –asc, a partir de su alusión por la Misión de Sabios (1995); sin debates sobre la noción, forma operativa, fundamento y alcances; sin referentes que permitieran comprender de qué se trataba ni lo que se pretendía con ella, la asc se constituyó en banalidad y discurso infaltable en las directrices y orientaciones institucionales en materia de ciencia, tecnología e innovación, visibles en la política y estrategia nacional de ascti. Planteados quedaron, sin respuesta, interrogantes relevantes acerca de su epistemología, concepción, forma operativa, horizontes de sentido y claridades sobre nexos con planteamientos que asumen el conocimiento como mercancía y los que profesan su democratización, particularmente en medio de concepciones y prácticas semejantes como circulación social de conocimiento –csc e introducción social de resultados –isr. En este escenario se plantea la asc, a partir de resultados de investigación, como estrategia para fortalecer la intervención social haciendo socialmente útil el conocimiento, promoviendo su democratización y proyectando sus potencialidades para contribuir a gestar democracia participativa atendiendo necesidades sociales cotidianas, afrontadas por sujetos y colectivos, en espacios y tiempos concretos. | es-ES |
