| dc.description | Starting the 1980s the dear friend and cherished social scientist Carlos Rodrigues Brandao (1986) compiled a book with reflections on “participant research” wondering who forms the researcher. In the following article ¨Paulo Freire (1981) warned that the problems at hand are not just epistemological or pedagogical but mainly political and ideological; and in that same text, in another section, Orlando Fals Borda (1981) described the methodological creation in which he was involved, warning about the existence of a dominant science and other emerging science, a popular science unfolding around good living. I have to confess that for over 40 years this book has touched my emotion, thought, speeches, and actions as an academic and professor of researchers in social sciences and humanities, pedagogy and social education. | en-US |
| dc.description | Iniciando la década de los 80, el entrañable amigo y apreciado científico social Carlos Rodrigues Brandão (1981) compilaba en un libro reflexiones sobre la “Investigación participante”; en él se preguntaba ¿quién forma al investigador? En el artículo siguiente Paulo Freire (1981) alertaba que los problemas que tenemos entre manos no son apenas epistemológicos o pedagógicos, son principalmente políticos e ideológicos; y en ese mismo texto, en otro apartado, Orlando Fals Borda (1981) daba cuentade la creación metodológica en la que estaba involucrado, alertando de la existencia de una ciencia dominante y otra ciencia emergente, una ciencia popular que se desarrollaba en torno al buen vivir.Tengo para confesar que este libro ha rondado por más de 40 años mi emoción, pensamiento, discursos y mi acción como académico y formador de investigadores en las ciencias sociales y humanas, pedagogía y educación social. | es-ES |
