dc.description	‘Vulnerability’ has been originally used as a concept in risk approaches geographic, associated with natural disasters. However, in the last two decades this category has been fairly widespread in political field, mainly in reforms of social and economic policies, which aim to make a renewed reading about the poverty and establish “new” and “good” classifications of people living in social deprivation. In Latin America the reading mentioned has been marked mainly by three approaches: economicist, social critic, and populational.	en-US
dc.description	El concepto de vulnerabilidad se utilizó inicialmente con enfoques de riesgos geográficos (emergencias), asociados a los desastres naturales. Sin embargo, en las últimas dos décadas esta categoría ha sido bastante difundida en la escena política, principalmente en relación con las reformas a las políticas sociales y económicas. El objetivo de esto es hacer una lectura renovada del concepto pobreza, y con ello establecer “nuevas” y “mejores” clasificaciones de las poblaciones que viven en carencia social. El presente artículo plantea que en el territorio latinoamericano esta lectura reformada ha estado marcada principalmente por tres enfoques: el economicista, el poblacional y el crítico social.	es-ES
