| dc.description | El presente trabajo expone, de manera resumida, lo que algunos autores, en el contexto del tratamiento del conflicto de familia, entienden por Mediación y Terapia y aborda la discusión que estas dos formas de intervención presentan actualmente respecto de si son tan diferentes que no se podrían usar concomitante o subsecuentemente o si la una no demerita a la otra y se podrían asumir de manera complementaria o subsidiaria. El escrito rescata a efectos del tratamiento del conflicto de familia, el enfoque de mediación conocido como transformativo, el cual, en obediencia a sus objetivos esenciales: la revalorización y el reconocimiento, asume que precisamente en esta visión lo que importa en el tratamiento de los conflictos es la persona misma y la posibilidad de su transformación y entiende que la terapia y la mediación se encuentran en un mismo plano de importancia, en donde para nada obsta que en un mismo proceso se aplique una u otra forma o la una después de la otra. Además de algunas consideraciones personales del autor respecto del tema, en los comentarios finales, el trabajo señala algunas características del rol del facilitador, mediador o terapeuta y anota la importancia de que dicho interventor ejerza su tarea desde el conocimiento pleno en aspectos tales como la neutralidad, el poder, la autoridad y la dirección del proceso. | es-ES |
