| dc.description | By choosing teaching as a profession, we enter an unknown and dynamic dimension. The questions that arise in the exercise of teaching mathematics go far beyond the list that we can make from our previous contact with our teachers. During years of study, we have met dozens of teachers who have tried with the best intentions to provide us with knowledge for the future. We have not always taken advantage of it, and we have not always accepted their way of presenting them. Between frustration and satisfaction, we have transformed what was future into present. Today it is our turn to take the educational role. Inspired by ethical principles and equipped with the necessary knowledge, we can make the math lesson a successful experience to our students. The text below provides a glimpse into the possibilities of providing a meaningful, enjoyable, and interesting connection to the youngest learners we encounter in the education system: the preschool students. | en-US |
| dc.description | Al escoger la docencia como profesión nos internamos en una dimensión desconocida y dinámica. Las preguntas que surgen en el ejercicio de la enseñanza de las matemáticas van mucho más allá de la lista que podemos elaborar partiendo del contacto previo con nuestros profesores. Durante años de estudio hemos conocido decenas de docentes que han tratado, con la mejor intención, de proporcionarnos los conocimientos para el futuro. No siempre los hemos aprovechado y no siempre hemos aceptado su forma de presentarlos. Entre frustración y satisfacción hemos transformado lo que era futuro en presente. Hoy es nuestro turno asumir el rol educativo. Inspirados en principios éticos y dotados de los conocimientos necesarios podemos proporcionar una experiencia exitosa a nuestros alumnos de matemáticas. El texto a continuación constituye una rendija que permite echar un vistazo a las posibilidades de ofrecer una conexión signifcativa, amena e interesante a los alumnos más jóvenes con los que nos encontramos en el sistema educativo: estudiantes en preescolar. | es-ES |
