| dc.description | Ethical values are the best legacy that our elders have left us as an inheritance. They are a current of life that generates new life by which the world is endlessly renewed. They are the traces of what we have been and lived in our life journey. Experience tells us that a fair and supportive society cannot be built based only on Reason; the ethics of compassion is indispensable to help us make our own the suffering of others who are in need and vulnerable, to recover the historical human being in all his or her reality. We need a compassionate ethic that favors structures of solidarity and fraternity in society, that overcome the coldness and indifference in the inter-human relations of today’s society. This implies a change from an idealistic anthropology and ethics to another anthropology and ethics that places the human being at the center of reference of ethical conduct. The experience of each subject, his or her concrete life, thus becomes the necessary content of educational action. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los valores éticos son el mejor legado que nuestros mayores nos han dejado en herencia. Son una corriente de vida que genera nueva vida por la que el mundo se renueva sin cesar. Son las huellas de lo que hemos sido y vivido en nuestro trayecto vital. La experiencia nos dice que no se puede construir una sociedad justa y solidaria fundamentada solo en la Razón; es indispensable la ética de la compasión que nos ayude a hacer nuestro el sufrimiento de los otros necesitados y vulnerables, recuperar al ser humano histórico en toda su realidad. Se hace necesaria una ética compasiva que favorezca en la sociedad estructuras de solidaridad y fraternidad, que superen la frialdad e indiferencia en las relaciones interhumanas de la sociedad actual. Ello supone el cambio de una antropología y éticas idealistas por otra antropología y ética que sitúa al ser humano en el centro de referencia de la conducta ética. La experiencia de cada sujeto, su vida concreta, se convierte de este modo en el contenido necesario de la acción educativa. | es-ES |
