| dc.description | Dressmaking workshops are part of the textile industry, which has great weight in the world economy and a high incidence in employment rates. The objective of this article is to approach from the literature the concept and practices of the textile industry in terms of technological development and innovation, in this sense a growing trend was found in the publication of articles related to the subject, as well as a wide deployment of research focused on the countries more incentives in the production and marketing of textiles. Finally, it is found that the most developed countries have advantages over other countries, which are related to the opportunity to improve their productivity and competitiveness, by creating and implementing progressive improvements in their technological and innovation capacity. In the case of Colombia, the country has increased its capabilities, but there are still challenges associated with growth focused on economies of scale. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los talleres de confección hacen parte de la industria textil, que tiene gran peso en la economía mundial y alta incidencia en las tasas de empleo. El objetivo de este artículo es abordar desde la literatura el concepto y las prácticas de la industria textil en cuanto a desarrollo tecnológico y de innovación. En este sentido se encontró una tendencia creciente en la publicación de artículos relacionados con el tema, así como un amplio despliegue de investigaciones enfocadas en los países mas incentivos en la producción y comercialización de textiles. Finalmente se encuentra que los países más desarrollados tienen ventajas frente a los demás países, las cuales se encuentran relacionadas con la oportunidad de mejorar su productividad y competitividad, al crear e implementar mejoras progresivas en su capacidad tecnológica y de innovación. En el caso de Colombia, el país ha incrementado sus capacidades, pero aún existen retos asociados al crecimiento enfocado a una economía de escala. | es-ES |
