dc.description	This article shows the results of a systematic ase don review on the theoretical and research refections on the study categories of continuing teacher education in rural contexts and the development of critical thinking, from a conceptual and hermeneutic perspective, in order to continue in the understanding of the study in ase . In this sense, each of them is defned and the trends or approaches are described from the theoretical, epistemic and methodological point of view, concluding that there are few studies on teacher training with emphasis on rurality and its contribution to the development of critical thinking, It is also noted that teacher training is confgured as one of the decisive factors for students to develop critical thinking that will enable them to have the necessary cognitive tools to face the complexity of current life, taking into account that from this perspective the instrumental nature of knowledge is transcended, giving way to processes of critical and collective construction.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo muestra los resultados de una revisión sistemática de literatura en torno a las refexiones teóricas e investigativas sobre las categorías de estudio formación permanente del docente en contextos rurales y el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico, desde una perspectiva conceptual y hermenéutica, para continuar en la comprensión del estudio a profundidad. En ese sentido, se defnen cada una de las categorías y se describen las tendencias o enfoques, desde el ámbito teórico, epistémico y metodológico, concluyendo que son pocos los estudios en formación permanente docente con énfasis en la ruralidad y su aporte al desarrollo del pensamiento crítico. Además se advierte que la formación docente se confgura como uno de los factores decisivos para que los estudiantes desarrollen un pensamiento crítico que les posibilite contar con las herramientas cognitivas, habilidades y competencias blandas, necesarias para enfrentar la complejidad de la vida actual, aún más en tiempos de pandemia COVID-19, teniendo en cuenta que desde esta perspectiva se transciende el carácter instrumental del conocimiento, dando paso a procesos de construcción crítica y colectiva.	es-ES
