| dc.description | Music represents a manifestation of essential art to generate satisfaction in human beings. In many situations, music is emerging as the ideal activity to calm emotions and to keep the brain stimulated in a positive way. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, music also played its important role in people’s lives. This began to be evidenced through the transformation of the uses and perception of music before and during confnement, being able to notice that virtuality played a key role in connecting people and learning new musical skills. In the development of the article, it will be possible to analyze how musical activities benefted people during this period, getting to know how interaction through music at a distance was one of the responses to the ‘new normality’ of the pandemic. Therefore, the article hypothesizes the following: Music was adapted to virtuality during confnement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, changing the perception and uses that people had conferred on it before the imposition of restrictions and measures to avoid infections. In order to corroborate the hypothesis that arises, a documentary-type investigation with a qualitative approach was established as a methodology, resorting to several studies related to the proposed topic. And as a result, it was possible to know that music efectively managed to adapt to virtuality during the confnement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so there was a change in both the perception and the uses that people had conferred on it before the imposition. of the restrictions and measures to avoid contagion, in addition, it was possible to know that the uses and perceptions of music from virtuality have been diverse according to the person and/or groups and the means that had access to it. | en-US |
| dc.description | La música representa una manifestación de arte esencial para generar bienestar en los seres humanos. En muchas situaciones la música se perfla como la actividad ideal para calmar las emociones y para mantener al cerebro estimulado de forma positiva. En el contexto del confnamiento de la pandemia del COVID - 19, la música también jugo un rol importante en la vida de las personas. Lo anterior se evidenció a través de la trasformación de los usos y la percepción que se tenía de la música antes y durante el confnamiento, pudiendo notar que la virtualidad desempeñó un papel clave para conectar a las personas y aprender nuevas habilidades musicales. En el desarrollo del artículo se podrá analizar cómo las actividades musicales benefciaron a las personas durante este periodo, logrando conocer cómo la interacción a través de la música a distancia fue una de las respuestas a ‘la nueva normalidad’ de la pandemia. Por lo tanto, el artículo plantea como hipótesis lo siguiente: La música se adecuo a la virtualidad durante el confnamiento por la pandemia del COVID - 19, cambiando la percepción y usos que las personas le habían conferido antes de la imposición de las restricciones y medidas para evitar contagios. Para poder corroborar la hipótesis que se plantea se estableció como metodología una investigación de tipo documental con un enfoque cualitativo recurriendo a varios estudios relacionados con el tema planteado y como resultado se pudo conocer que efectivamente la música logro adecuarse a la virtualidad durante el confnamiento por la pandemia del COVID - 19, por lo que hubo un cambio tanto en la percepción como en los usos que las personas le habían conferido antes de la imposición de las restricciones y medidas para evitar contagios, además, se pudo conocer que los usos y percepciones de la música desde la virtualidad han sido diversos según la persona y/o grupos y los medios que contaba para acceder a ella. | es-ES |
