| dc.description | The objective of the study was to analyze the beliefs of teachers in science training about inquiry-based learning, to provide information on how to guide the use of this innovative strategy in initial teacher training. The study is quantitative with a descriptive approach and was based on a field design. The results reflect slightly positive beliefs of pre-service teachers about inquiry-based learning as an innovative strategy, although it is recommended to expand the sample to generalize. Finally, in conclusion, the analysis reveals that the implementation of inquiry-based learning for science education should be promoted and supported more effectively to foster motivation, skill development and conceptual understanding of scientific content. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las creencias de los docentes en formación en ciencias sobre el aprendizaje basado en la investigación, para aportar información sobre cómo orientar el uso de esta estrategia innovadora en la formación inicial docente. El estudio es de tipo de cuantitativa con enfoque descriptivo y se basó en un diseño de campo. Los resultados reflejan unas creencias ligeramente positivas de los docentes en formación sobre el aprendizaje basado en la investigación como estrategia innovadora, aunque se recomienda ampliar la muestra para generalizar. Finalmente, como conclusión el análisis revela que la implementación del aprendizaje basado en la indagación para la enseñanza de las ciencias, debe ser promovida y apoyada de manera más efectiva para fomentar la motivación, el desarrollo de habilidades y la comprensión conceptual de los contenidos científicos. | es-ES |
