| dc.description | The environment that surrounds children is full of geometric shapes, for this reason, knowing how to distribute objects in space is one of the many reasons for teaching geometry in school settings. This research is part of the development of geometric thinking, and its objective is to design the approach of a didactic strategy that allows fifth grade students of the Agroindustrial Educational Institution the Pasto’s to strengthen geometric processes based on symbolic elements. specific to their culture. For this, the study and application of the Van Hiele Geometric Reasoning Model is used, seeking to facilitate a better understanding and application of geometry.The methodological design on which this research is based is descriptive and interpretive. The instruments used to collect the information was the questionnaire, which made it possible to identify the causes of the difficulties in learning the geometric process and the semi-structured interview to be able to respond to the individual and collective needs raised by the researchers. The focus group was the fifth grade of elementary school from the Pasto’s Agroindustrial Educational Institution. Finally, it is concluded that the approach of the didactic strategy aims to generate a change in the methodological practice of the teacher, impacting on the teaching and significant learning processes in the population under study. | en-US |
| dc.description | El entorno que rodea a los niños y las niñas está lleno de formas geométricas, por esta razón, saber distribuir los objetos en el espacio es una de las tantas razones de la enseñanza de la geometría en los escenarios escolares. La presente investigación se enmarca en el desarrollo del pensamiento geométrico, y tiene como objetivo el diseñar el planteamiento de una estrategia didáctica que permita a los estudiantes de grado quinto de la Institución Educativa Agroindustrial Los Pastos el fortalecimiento de los procesos geométricos a partir de elementos simbólicos propios de su cultura. Para esto, se utiliza el estudio y la aplicación del Modelo de Razonamiento Geométrico de Van Hiele, buscando facilitar una mejor comprensión y aplicación de la geometría. El diseño metodológico en el cual se fundamenta esta investigación es de tipo descriptivo e interpretativo. Los instrumentos empleados para la recolección de la información fueron el cuestionario, que permitió identificar las causas de las dificultades en el aprendizaje del proceso geométrico y la entrevista semiestructurada para poder responder a las necesidades individuales y colectivas planteadas por los investigadores. El grupo focal fue el grado quinto de básica primaria de la Institución Educativa Agroindustrial Los Pastos. Por último, se concluye que el planteamiento de la estrategia didáctica pretende generar un cambio en la práctica metodológica del docente impactando en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje significativo en la población objeto del estudio. | es-ES |
