| dc.description | This article aims to prepare a record of Brazil-Uruguay’s border and the border dispute between Portugal and Spain, in order to understand Aceguá’s current context better. To achieve that, a documentary and bibliographic research on the local history and geography has been conducted, besides the analysis of the current conditions of the border development. This is an unprecedented research about Aceguá, including historical information which has not been published before. Therefore, the main focus is to register and to document this community from the conception of what is the border, of the history of the Luso-Spanish border in America and of the current history of Aceguá border. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo de este trabajo es hacer un histórico de la frontera Brasil-Uruguay y la disputa fronteriza entre Portugal y España para comprender mejor el contexto actual de Aceguá. Para ello, se realizó una investigación documental y bibliográfica acerca de la historia y geografía local, además de la condición actual de desarrollo fronterizo. Es una investigación inédita sobre Aceguá, con informaciones históricas hasta el momento no publicadas. Por lo tanto, el foco principal es registrar y documentar esa comunidad a partir de la concepción de lo que es la frontera, de la historia de la frontera luso-española en la América y de la historia actual de frontera de Aceguá. | es-ES |
| dc.description | O objetivo desse artigo é fazer um histórico sobre a fronteira Brasil-Uruguai e a disputa fronteiriça entre Portugal e Espanha para melhor compreendermos o contexto atual de Aceguá. Para isso, foi feita uma pesquisa documental e bibliográfica acerca da história e geografia local, além da condição atual de desenvolvimento fronteiriço. Trata-se de uma pesquisa inédita sobre Aceguá, com informações históricas até então não publicadas.
