dc.description	The emergence and consolidation of the Colombian sugar agro-industry, located in the geographical valley of the Cauca River, corresponds to a historical process where a diversity of factors are involved: social, geographical, environmental, economic, political, technological and cultural activities. The economic modernization of the Colombian sugar sector led to the implementation of capitalist production relations, which introduced drastic changes in the ways of exploiting labour, land and sugar production that have been supported by dominant ideologies and ways of thinking on the part of the sugar bourgeoisie. In this order of ideas here stand out some elements of analysis, drawn from the speeches of Santiago Eder and Don Hernando Caicedo, from which the stigmatization of the cane courter became active.	en-US
dc.description	El surgimiento y consolidación de la agroindustria azucarera colombina, asentada en el valle geográfico del río Cauca, corresponde a un proceso histórico donde intervienen diversidad de factores: sociales, geográficos, ambientales, económicos, políticos, tecnológicos y culturales. La modernización económica del sector azucarero colombiano supuso la implantación de las relaciones de producción capitalistas, lo cual introdujo drásticos cambios en las formas de explotar la mano de obra, la tierra y la producción de azúcar que se han respaldado en ideologías y formas de pensar dominantes por parte de la burguesía azucarera. En este orden de ideas aquí se destacan algunos elementos de análisis, extraídos de los discursos de Santiago Eder y don Hernando Caicedo, a partir de los cuales se hizo operante la estigmatización del cortero de caña.	es-ES
