| dc.description | El término hidroponía se deriva del griego hydro = agua y ponos = trabajo o actividad, es decir, ‘trabajo del agua’ o ‘actividad del agua’. También se conoce como cultivo sin suelo, nutricultura, quimiocultura, cultivo artificial o agricultura sin suelo. En los últimos sesenta años se ha trabajado en el desarrollo de nuevos sistemas que ayuden a solventar esos problemas. Uno de los más representativos es la hidroponía, que ofrece una alternativa para producir alimentos, no sólo en las áreas con problemas de contaminación de suelos y carencia de agua sino también en el medio doméstico. | |
