| dc.description | Tomás Vargas Osorio nació en 1908 y, como se evidencia en su obra, tanto en sus poemas como en sus novelas, se preparó para la muerte durante gran parte de su vida, siendo el clímax su confrontación con aquella a sus treinta años por causa del infortunio del cáncer. No obstante, su enfermedad no lo derrotó, sino que le dio incluso más valor para escribir; y por esto, Vargas no ha muerto y sigue en la memoria de Santander y de Colombia | |
