dc.description	The objective of this research was to describe the Methodological Construction of Professors teaching elective courses at a private university in Bogota. The research was qualitative with a descriptive-interpretive focus. We examined what professors do when structuring their classes in Practice Teaching by means of a questionnaire with open-ended questions designed and validated for this research. There were 13 university professors participating. To analyze the results, a matrix was designed with the dimensions in methodological constructions to be explored. It was found that the professors centered their methodological construction around the student without neglecting the content and context in which their teaching practice is immersed. Institutionalizing space for reflection and reinforcing formation in university teaching were proposed as teaching guidelines.	en-US
dc.description	Esta investigación tuvo por objeto caracterizar las construcciones metodológicas de los docentes, en cursos electivos en una universidad privada de Bogotá. Estudio de tipo cualitativo con enfoque descriptivo-interpretativo. Indagó lo que hacen los docentes al estructurar las clases en sus prácticas de enseñanza, mediante un cuestionario con preguntas abiertas, diseñado y validado para esta investigación. Participaron 13 docentes universitarios. Para el análisis de los resultados se diseñó una matriz con las dimensiones exploradas en las construcciones metodológicas. Se encontró que los docentes centran su construcción metodológica en el alumno, sin descuidar los contenidos y el contexto en el que está inmersa su práctica de enseñanza. Se propusieron como lineamientos didácticos: 1) Institucionalizar espacios de reflexión. 2) Afianzar la formación en didáctica universitaria.	es-ES
