| dc.description | La alarma social ante un estado de violencia y delincuencia insostenible en el país, provocada entre otros factores, por la manipulación que realiza la prensa alrededor del fenómeno de la criminalidad, ha justificado la implementación de una serie de “políticas criminales” tendentes al endurecimiento y al uso desmedido de los instrumentos jurídico-penales. La aplicación de dichas medidas en el ámbito penitenciario ha incrementado los problemas que siempre lo han caracterizado, sin que hasta al momento las respuestas planteadas para enfrentarlos hayan logrado atenuarlos. | es-ES |
