| dc.description | The present text aims to de-construct three of the main theoretical problematizations from which the exegesis of the decoloniality of power is thought. In the first place, a genealogy of the category of race is realized; secondly, it is analyzed the way in which decolonial discourse understands power; and then, it is analized the implications of thinking to coloniality as a heterarchical matrix. The thesis that articulates and gives coherence to the present study is that the central character of the racialization of the subjects in the coloniality of power comes from the ontological change that occurred, simultaneously, in the construction of modern capitalism, with the conquest and invention of America as problematic, geosocial and identity unit. Thus, by establishing a critical dialogue with the contributions that Aníbal Quijano and Santiago Castro-Gómez have made to these studies, an epistemological alternative is offered to the dominant notions in the contributions of both authors. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente texto tiene por objeto deconstruir tres de las principales problematizaciones teóricas desde las cuales se piensa la exégesis de la decolonialidad del poder. En primer lugar se realiza una genealogía de la categoría de raza; enseguida se analiza la manera en que el discurso decolonial entiende el poder; y a continuación se complejizan las implicaciones de pensar a la colonialidad como una matriz heterárquica. La tesis que articula y da coherencia al presente estudio es que el carácter central de la racialización de los sujetos en la colonialidad del poder deviene del cambio ontológico que se produjo, de manera simultánea, en la edificación de la modernidad capitalista, con la conquista e invención de América como unidad problemática, geosocial e identitaria. Así pues, estableciendo un diálogo crítico con las aportaciones que Aníbal Quijano y Santiago Castro-Gómez han realizado a estos estudios, se ofrece una alternativa epistemológica a las nociones dominantes en las contribuciones de ambos autores. | es-ES |
