dc.description	This article studies the reception of Talcott Parsons and Robert Merton in Argentina between 1945-1960. First, the text reconstructs the local circulation of North American sociologists since the beginning of the 20th century and then focuses on the time in which the functionalists began to spread locally, that is, the first Peronist government. Later, the analysis focuses especially on two sociologists: Gino Germani and José Enrique Miguens. Both were prominent receptors of the sociology of Parsons and Merton, whose receptions are reconstructed in a comparative way, showing their appropriations and uses until the early 1960s.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo estudia la recepción de Talcott Parsons y Robert Merton en Argentina entre 1945-1960. Primero, el texto reconstruye la circulación local de sociólogos norteamericanos desde comienzos del siglo XX para luego centrarse en la época en la cual comenzó la divulgación local de los funcionalistas, es decir, el primer gobierno peronista. Después, el análisis se concentra especialmente en dos sociólogos: Gino Germani y José Enrique Miguens. Ambos fueron destacados receptores de la sociología de Parsons y Merton, cuyas recepciones se reconstruyen de forma comparada, mostrando sus apropiaciones y usos hasta comienzos de 1960.	es-ES
