dc.description	This article tries to show the actions of the diplomatic emissaries of the Hispanic Monarchy in the north of the Italian peninsula, and in Genoa in particular, during the seventeenth century. In this area, where the interests of the Habsburgs and the Monarchy of France, allied to the Duchy of Savoy converged, entities whose foreign policy radiated systems of universal sovereignty and territorial expansion. The design of Francisco de Melo, as an interlocutor between the Council of State and the political and credit agents of the Republic of Genoa, was a fundamental aspect of the composition of an information network that operated in the Ligurian city during the war with Savoy. between 1624 and 1625, the conspiracy of Giulio Cesare Vacchero in 1628 and the election of the Doge in 1633. Thus, the internal politics of Genoa became a matter of real relevance, in turbulent periods in the imperial framework of the Hispanic Monarchy.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo intenta mostrar el accionar de los emisarios diplomáticos de la Monarquía Hispánica en el norte de la península itálica, en general, y en Génova, en particular, durante el siglo XVII. En este ámbito, donde confluían los intereses de los Habsburgos y la Monarquía de Francia, aliada al ducado de Saboya, entidades cuya política exterior irradiaban sistemas de soberanía universal y de expansión territorial. El designio de Francisco de Melo, como interlocutor entre el consejo de Estado y los agentes políticos y de crédito de la República de Génova, fue un aspecto fundamental de la composición de una red de información que operó en la ciudad ligur durante la guerra con Saboya entre 1624 y 1625, la conjura de Giulio Cesare Vacchero en 1628 y la elección del dux de 1633. Así la política interna de Génova pasó a ser un tema de relevancia real, en periodos turbulentos en el entramado imperial de la Monarquía Hispánica.	es-ES
