| dc.description | A significant reading itinerary opens around a series of writers from southern Chile, whose works ⸺published between 2000 and 2014⸺ interpellate the established imaginary of Nation and the discourses and symbols that reinforce it: flag, anthem, monument. The present work focuses its interest on the poetry collection Patriagonia: Catabática, Adiabática, Anabática (Santiago: LOM, 2014) by the Chilean writer Ivonne Coñuecar (1980, Coyhaique; resident of Rosario, Argentina) in order to explore the ways in which the poetic subject gives shape to its own 'nation': her patria-palabra (homeland-word). The poetic word provides anchorage to the voice(s) that speak throughout constant dislocations: of identity, geography, sex, ideology. From the dispossession of the territory to the dispossession of the body, the poetic subject of Patriagonia undermines the narrative of the democratic transition in Chile to construct her truth. She retraces childhood and adolescence from a present of enunciation that allows her to critically deconstruct her native south, Coyhaique, and the nation, with its institutions and symbols. | en-US |
| dc.description | Un significativo itinerario de lectura se abre alrededor de una serie de escritores del sur de Chile, cuyas obras ⸺publicadas entre el 2000 y el 2014⸺ interpelan el imaginario de Nación establecido y los discursos y símbolos que lo refuerzan: bandera, himno, monumento. El presente trabajo centra su interés en un poemario: Patriagonia: Catabática, Adiabática, Anabática (Santiago: LOM, 2014) de la escritora chilena Ivonne Coñuecar (1980, Coyhaique, residente en Rosario, Argentina) con el fin de explorar las maneras en que el sujeto poético configura su propia ‘nación’: su patria-palabra. La palabra poética deviene anclaje desde dónde decir(se) en sus constantes desplazamientos: geográficos, identitarios, sexuales, ideológicos. Del despojo del territorio al despojo del cuerpo, el sujeto poético de Patriagonia socava el relato de la transición democrática en Chile para construir su verdad; desanda la infancia y la adolescencia desde un presente de enunciación que le permite deconstruir críticamente su sur natal, Coyhaique, y la nación, con sus instituciones y sus símbolos. | es-ES |
