| dc.description | El pensamiento liberal germina en los surcos de la historia moderna y puede rastrearse hasta la experiencia de las ciudades comerciales tardomedievales. Rediseña los términos modernos de “república” y “derecho” con su ideal de libertad (personal y colectiva) y exhibe una marcada vocación internacionalista. El artículo explora los perfiles de tres grandes pensadores liberales en el ámbito del derecho internacional y de las instituciones de cooperación, como son Immanuel Kant, Hans Kelsen y John Rawls. El método es cualitativo, con la técnica de revisión y análisis documental. Se concluye que el liberalismo, como doctrina idealista reconoce que los pueblos no solamente compiten entre sí, sino que también son capaces de colaborar para lograr metas en común, como una alternativa que resulta no sólo más económica, sino sobre todo, más civilizada. | |
| dc.description | Liberalism arises in the furrows of modern history and can be traced to the experience of the late-medieval commercial cities. It redesigns the modern terms of "republic"; and "right"; with their ideal of freedom (personal and collective), and exhibits a strong internationalist vocation. The paper explores the profiles of three great liberal thinkers in the field of international law and cooperation institutions, such as Immanuel Kant, Hans Kelsen and John Rawls. It uses a qualitative methodology and technique of documentary analysis technique. It is concluded that liberalism, as an idealist doctrine, recognizes that people not only compete with each other, but are also able to collaborate to achieve common goals, as an alternative that is not only moreeconomic, but above all, more civilized. | |
