| dc.description | This paper aims to reflect on a very much used category: the one of sensationalism in the red chronicle, specially the ones written on newspapers and magazines, from the end of the XIX or beginnings of the XX century until the 1980s. It is of special interest to observe certain tensions in which these accounts fall as well as to identify the problem of its continuity on the police narrative of the press nowadays, in which diverse mutations and continuing significance emerge. Therefore, a diachronic perspective has been chosen as it is possible to talk about traditional sensationalism or first sensationalism which characteristics lasted for many years in the Argentinean graphic press though many causes seem to have modified its present writing and function. Even though these accounts have ejected a special attraction on the readers, they have been strongly criticized with diverse arguments either by the intellectual area or the same journalistic area that this paper reports in one of the items. | dc.description | Este trabajo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre una categoría muy utilizada: la de sensacionalismo en las crónicas rojas, especialmente las escritas en diarios y revistas, desde fines del siglo XIX o comienzos del XX hasta aproximadamente la década de 1980. Interesa especialmente observar ciertas tensiones en las que estos relatos se inscriben como así también problematizar su continuidad en la narrativa policial de la prensa actual, en la que surgen permanencias y mutaciones diversas. Es por ello que escogemos una perspectiva diacrónica en cuanto es posible hablar de sensacionalismo tradicional o primer sensacionalismo cuyas características se mantuvieron durante muchos años en la prensa gráfica argentina, aunque una policausalidad parece haber modificado su actual escritura y función. Aunque estos relatos han ejercido especial atracción en el público lector, han sido fuertemente criticados con argumentos diversos ya sea desde el campo intelectual o desde el mismo campo periodístico de lo que este trabajo da cuenta en uno de sus puntos. Se procura especialmente comprender una narrativa que parece haber planteado desde los comienzos de su publicación lecturas diversas no exentas de conflictividad. | es-ES |
