dc.description	This paper compares two rewritings of the Odyssey from Penelope's perspective; who without travelling she is forced to develop her own survival strategies. Both Margaret Atwood's, The Penelopiad, and the work of Galician writer Begoña Caamaño, Circe o el placer del azul, are subversive novels, which are narrated from a feminine -even feminist- perspective, questioning the truth of the Homeric tale. Despite the coincidences, these rewritings employ very different mechanisms, humor and sublimation among others, in order to provide Penelope with her own voice.	en-US
dc.description	Este trabajo compara dos reescrituras de la Odisea, planteadas desde la perspectiva de Penélope, que, sin viajar, se ve obligada a crear sus propias estrategias de supervivencia. Se trata de la obra de Margaret Atwood, Penélope y las doce criadas, y la obra de la gallega Begoña Caamaño, Circe o el placer del azul, novelas con finalidad subversiva, narradas desde una posición femenina o incluso feminista, que cuestionan la verdad del relato homérico. A pesar de las coincidencias, ambas reescrituras articulan procedimientos muy distintos, el humor o la sublimación, entre otros, para dar voz a Penélope.	es-ES
