dc.description	This article aims to address the pedagogical dimension of the Movimiento de Sacerdotes para el Tercer Mundo (MSTM) [Movement of Priests for the Third World] in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, during the period 1967-1974. We describe its practices and political options, its conceptions about conscientization and one of the systematic training instances that some of its members helped to shape: the “Instituto para la Liberación y Promoción Humana” (ILPH) [Institute for Liberation and Human Promotion]. The research was of a socio-historical nature and was based on oral and documentary sources. Among the main results, we highlight the importance of the MSTM at the territorial level, where it played a fundamental organizational/educational role. In addition, its "option for Peronism" was concretized in the organic membership of a significant group of priests, among them its main leaders, in the Peronismo de Base. Likewise, its pedagogical role in the training of activist subjectivities stood out, a task that it carried out systematically together with Protestant Christians through the ILPH. We conclude that the ecumenical experience delineated a large part of the educational function of the MSTM and that the members of this Movement, or more broadly of the “constelación tercermundista” [third worldist constellation], played the role of organic intellectuals in the process of constituting an alternative political force to capitalism, within the framework of revolutionary Peronism.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo se propone abordar la dimensión pedagógica del Movimiento de Sacerdotes para el Tercer Mundo (MSTM) en la provincia de Mendoza, Argentina, durante el período 1967-1974. Se describen sus prácticas y opciones políticas, sus concepciones acerca de la concientización y una de las instancias sistemáticas de formación que algunos de sus miembros contribuyeron a conformar: el “Instituto para la Liberación y Promoción Humana”(ILPH). La investigación fue de carácter sociohistórico y se basó en fuentes orales y documentales. Entre los principales resultados se destaca la importancia del MSTM en el ámbito territorial, donde tuvo un rol organizativo/educativo fundamental. Además, su “opción por el peronismo” se concretizó en la pertenencia orgánica de un grupo significativo de sacerdotes, entre ellos sus principales referentes, al Peronismo de Base. Asimismo, sobresalió su rol pedagógico en la formación de subjetividades militantes, tarea que realizó de forma sistemática junto a cristianos/as protestantes a través del ILPH. Concluimos que la experiencia ecuménica delineó gran parte de la función educativa del MSTM y que los integrantes del mismo, o más ampliamente de la “constelación tercermundista”, desempeñaron el papel de intelectuales orgánicos en el proceso de constitución de una fuerza política alternativa al capitalismo, en los marcos del peronismo revolucionario.	es-ES
