| dc.description | This work analyzes Aníbal Ponce's perspectives on Spain in the interwar period. From an approach that combines the history of ideas (understood as discourse analysis), and intelectual history (considering the itineraries and networks of intelectual sociability), we understand Ponce's conceptions of Spain as a tense and dynamic space. Here his convictions converge, both with operations of intelectual self-legitimation, and with tactical / political needs of the conjuncture. In Ponce's conceptions there is a growing relativization of his initial anti-Hispanicism. This becoming is representative of the tensions that crossed the Argentine cultural field in a period marked, both by the crisis of positivist liberalism and the radicalization of the debates around the nation, as well as by the growing commitment of certain fringes of the intelligentsia to the cause of international communism and antifascism. Considerations about the old metrópolis occupied a preponderant place in these processes. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo analiza las perspectivas de Aníbal Ponce sobre España en entreguerras. Desde un enfoque que combina la Historia de las ideas (entendida como análisis del discurso), y la Historia intelectual (considerando los itinerarios y las redes de sociabilidad intelectual), comprendemos las concepciones de Ponce sobre España como un espacio tenso y dinámico. Aquí sus convicciones confluyen, tanto con operaciones de autolegitimación intelectual, como con necesidades táctico/políticas coyunturales. En las concepciones de Ponce se manifiesta una creciente relativización de su antihispanismo inicial. Este devenir es representativo de las tensiones que atravesaron el campo cultural argentino en un período signado, tanto por la crisis del liberalismo positivista y la radicalización de los debates en torno a la nación, como por el creciente compromiso de ciertas franjas de la intelectualidad con la causa del comunismo internacional y el antifascismo. Las consideraciones sobre la antigua metrópoli ocupaban un lugar preponderante en estos procesos. | es-ES |
