| dc.description | This brief essay aims to show some of the methodological and conceptual problems facing the history of 20th century Catholic intellectuals, bearing in mind that it is a field in permanent dialogue with sociology and anthropology. The work supposes that the study of this segment of the intelligentsia is a privileged means to understand the complex Argentine Catholic culture and its interaction with political life. It attempts to expose the changes in the instruments of analysis of the history of Catholicism, from pioneering work in the 1990s to the present day. It proposes, in this sense, that the history of Catholic culture has followed a path similar to that of other subfields: from a stimulated approach from political history, the history of religion has been finding its own questions, to the point of developing a methodology that, without being original, has been consolidated into unique nuances. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este breve ensayo pretende mostrar algunos de los problemas metodológicos y conceptuales que enfrenta la historia de los intelectuales católicos del siglo XX, teniendo en cuenta que se trata de un campo en permanente diálogo con la sociología y la antropología. El trabajo supone que el estudio de este segmento de la intelectualidad es un medio privilegiado para comprender la compleja cultura católica argentina y su interacción con la vida política. Intenta exponer los cambios en los instrumentos de análisis de la historia del catolicismo, desde de los trabajos pioneros en la década de 1990 hasta la actualidad. Propone, en ese sentido, que la historia de la cultura católica ha seguido un camino similar al de otros subcampos: desde un abordaje estimulado por la historia política, la historia de la religión ha ido encontrando sus propios interrogantes, al punto de desarrollar una metodología que, sin ser original, se ha consolidado en singulares matices. | es-ES |
