| dc.description | This article aims to re-read Teoría del túnel, the first long essay written by Julio Cortázar, in order to analyze the problematic bond between the individual and the community - scarcely studied by literary criticism- within the framework of a study about the relevance of literary surrealism and existentialism during the late ‘40s. This reading key to access a posthumously published essay almost fifty years after its production allows for the revision of the author’s entire body of work, dodging the canonic and evolutive periodization in two consecutive phases (apolitical Cortázar and politically engaged Cortázar) through the critical register of a latent communal pulse that invigorates his writing. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo procura releer Teoría del túnel, primer ensayo extenso escrito por Julio Cortázar, en la tentativa de analizar ahí una preocupación –poco estudiada por la crítica especializada– por el vínculo problemático entre individuo y comunidad en el marco de un estudio sobre la actualidad del surrealismo y el existencialismo hacia fines de los años 40. Esta clave de lectura para ingresar a un ensayo publicado póstumamente casi medio siglo después de su escritura permite revisar el conjunto de la producción cortazariana, esquivando la periodización evolutiva más canónica en etapas sucesivas (Cortázar apolítico, Cortázar comprometido) mediante el registro crítico de un pulso comunitario en estado de latencia que dinamiza su escritura. | es-ES |
