dc.description In this work I research the new modulations of science fiction in the Argentinian cinema of the last decades by looking at how certain knowledge systems such as science, medicine and biotechnology are present in its imaginary. I will explore how some sort of futurist fantasy becomes pervaded with an arcane substratum evoking a mythological imaginary in permanent dialogue with the myths of psychoanalysis and cultural anthropology. dc.description En mi trabajo investigo las nuevas modulaciones de laí¿ciencia ficción en el cine argentino de las últimas décadas observando cómo determinados saberes tales como la ciencia, la medicina y la biotecnologí­a, están presente en su imaginario. Observaré cómoí¿cierta fantasí­a futurista se encuentra impregnada de un substrato arcano que remite a un imaginario mitológico en diálogo permanente coní¿los mitos del propioí¿psicoanálisisí¿y la antropologí­a culturalista.
