| dc.description | Within the framework of linguistic politics, this paper analyses the underlying discourses of Spanish as a standard language in the different grammatization-instruments [Auroux, 1992] destined to regulate the linguistic uses in the Spanish-Speaking field. The hypothesis is that the linguistic politics encouraged by the language Academies and the different instances of spreading of the standard called 'panhispanic' turn to the spirit of linguistic unity and homogeneity, present since the beginning of the discourses of the Spanish language affecting the prestige of the regional standards. From this hypothesis, this paper maintains that the current expectations of linguistic homogeneity and inter comprehensibility that are expressed in dictionaries, style handbooks or grammar books, as well as in the media forget that the regional standards parallel to that globalized Spanish language not always consist of a formal way of teaching that validates them and makes them before the transnational variety. To verify the plausibility of this hypothesis, we have analyzed the Diccionario de la lengua española and the Diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas by the RAE [Real Academia Española] and school textbooks on the teaching of Spanish, among other instruments. | dc.description | En el marco de las políticas lingüísticas, el trabajo analiza los discursos sobre el español como lengua estándar subyacentes en los diversos instrumentos de gramatización [Auroux, 1992] destinados a regular los usos lingüísticos en el ámbito hispanoamericano. Postula la hipótesis de que las políticas lingüísticas alentadas desde las Academias de la Lengua y las diversas instancias de difusión del estándar llamado panhispánico acuden al espíritu de unidad y homogeneidad lingüística presente desde los inicios de los discursos sobre el español afectando el prestigio de los estándares regionales. A partir de esta hipótesis, sostiene que las actuales expectativas de homogeneidad e intercomprensibilidad lingüística expresadas tanto en diccionarios, manuales de estilo o gramáticas como en los medios de comunicación olvidan que los estándares regionales paralelos a ese español globalizado no siempre cuentan con una vía de enseñanza formal que los valide y los prestigie frente a la variedad transnacional.
