The objective of the present work is the analysis of the transformations of the indigenous world during the immediately later years to the Military Campaigns of ends of the XIX century, highlighting its strategies of adaptation before the new relationship with the National State. Then, the changes in the indigenous sociopolitical organization and in their economic relationships by virtue of their new articulation with the state society, are focused through different case studies: submitted tribes voluntarily and relocated in lands assigned by the State; and family groups that, in spite of being isolated of their traditional tribal bonds, maintained their ethnic identity and certain degree of social and economic autonomy. The cases are developed in the territory of the current province of Neuquén , between 1882 and 1919, and they are reconstructed thanks to documents of the Archive Provincial Historical and of Lands and Colonies of the province of Neuquén . These situations present a complex dynamics in which the diversity of continuities, substitutions and disappearances are integrated inside oneself logic of survival, passing over the traditional vision of a contradiction between resistance and assimilation.El objetivo del presente trabajo es el análisis de las transformaciones del mundo indí­gena durante los años inmediatamente posteriores a las Campañas Militares de fines del siglo XIX, destacando sus estrategias de adaptación ante la nueva relación con el Estado Nacional. Así­, los cambios en la organización sociopolí­tica indí­gena y en sus relaciones económicas en virtud de su nueva articulación con la sociedad estatal, son enfocados a través de diferentes estudios de caso: tribus sometidas voluntariamente y relocalizadas en tierras asignadas por el Estado; y grupos familiares que, a pesar de estar aislados de sus ví­nculos tribales tradicionales, mantuvieron su identidad étnica y cierto grado de autonomí­a social y económica. Los casos se desarrollan en el territorio de la actual provincia de Neuquén, entre 1882 y 1919, y son reconstruidos gracias a documentos de los archivos Histórico Provincial y de Tierras y Colonias de la provincia de Neuquén. Estas situaciones presentan una compleja dinámica en la cual la diversidad de continuidades, reemplazos y desapariciones queda integrada dentro de una misma lógica de supervivencia, traspasando la visión tradicional de una contradicción entre resistencia y asimilación.
