| dc.description | This writing synthesizes the results of the preliminary analysis of the ceramic material obtained from prospecting and archaeological excavations in the municipality of Diriá in the Department of Granada, eastern region of Nicaragua. For this purpose, some morphological, decorative and functional variables of the recovered ceramic assemblage were analyzed that suggest an intense occupation in the Bagaces period (300-800 AD) with ceramic types typical of the cultural region of Greater Nicoya and Honduras proper. In this way, the results are intended to contribute to the studies of the national archaeological record inasmuch as it seeks to understand the social processes that occurred in that region, particularly with respect to those links or interaction from the ceramic manufacture. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este escrito sintetiza los resultados del análisis preliminar del material cerámico obtenido de prospecciones y excavaciones arqueológicas en el municipio de Diriá en el Departamento de Granada, región oriente de Nicaragua. Para tal fin se analizaron algunas variables morfológicas, decorativas y funcionales del conjunto cerámico recuperado que sugieren una ocupación intensa en el período Bagaces (300-800 d.C.) con tipos cerámicos propios de la región cultural de Gran Nicoya y Honduras propiamente dicho. De esta forma los resultados pretenden aportar a los estudios del registro arqueológico nacional por cuanto se atiende a comprender los procesos sociales acontecidos en esa región particularmente con respecto a aquellos vínculos o interacción a partir de la manufactura cerámica. | es-ES |
