dc.description	The sources of information, their quality and availability are essential for the development of research processes. When addressing the issue of the border and its influence in shaping the town of Cárdenas in Rivas, Nicaragua, the available sources of information are used to enrich the theoretical aspects of the research, which complement and support the data collected in the field. This article makes an analysis of the sources found that help to support the theoretical aspects related to this Nicaraguan town and that due to its border nature is surrounded by relevant aspects that are worth rescuing. This written article was born as part of the doctoral research titled: Influence of the frontier in the dynamics of the process of local conformation of Cárdenas, in the historical region of Rivas, Nicaragua of the doctoral program in History with mention in regional and transdisciplinary local studies of the UNAN-Managua.	en-US
dc.description	Las fuentes de información, su calidad y disponibilidad son esenciales para el desarrollo de los procesos de investigación. Al abordar el tema de la frontera y su influencia en conformación de la localidad de Cárdenas en Rivas, Nicaragua se hace uso obligatorio de las fuentes de información disponibles para el enriquecimiento de los aspectos teóricos de la investigación, los que se complementan y fundamentan con los datos recopilados en campo. Este artículo realiza un análisis de las fuentes encontradas que ayudan a sustentar los aspectos teóricos relacionados con esta localidad nicaragüense y que por su naturaleza fronteriza está rodeada de aspectos relevantes que valen la pena rescatar. Este artículo escrito nace como parte de la investigación doctoral titulada: Influencia de la frontera en la dinámica del proceso de conformación local de Cárdenas, en la región histórica de Rivas, Nicaragua del programa de doctorado en Historia con mención en estudios regionales y locales transdisciplinarios de la UNAN-Managua.	es-ES
