| dc.description | Este trabajo explora la historia de vida de un indígena mixteco quien en su transmigrar entre México y Estados Unidos transita a través de distintas representaciones dominantes del cuerpo. En el proceso educativo, en el trabajo y en la violencia de los interrogatorios y la tortura narrados en esta historia, las tecnologías para informar y para extraer información del narrador se centran en el cuerpo. La respuesta es una contienda en torno al cuerpo en la que se confrontan varias definiciones del mismo. Esta tensión se agrava cuando interviene el Estado mexicano con una nueva política que pretende construir un nuevo régimen de sentimientos entre México y Estados Unidos en el que la nostalgia juega un papel central. | |
| dc.description | Abstract: This paper explores the life history of a Mixtec, who in his transmigration between Mexico and the U.S. moves through diverse dominant representations of the body. In the educational process, in the job, and in the violence of interrogation and torture narrated in this story, the technologies to inform and to extract information are centered in the body. The response is a contest for the definition of the body. This tension worsens when the State intervenes with a new policy that pretends to build a new regime of feelings between Mexico and the U.S. where nostalgia plays a central role. | |
