| dc.description | La revista Criterio, que circula desde 1928, es la más influyente y prestigiosa revista católica argentina del siglo XX. Antes de aparecer el primer número, los editores distribuyeron un prospecto para anunciarla, para presentar a sus directores y colaboradores, y exponer brevemente su método, su doctrina y el movimiento al que respondía. Intentaremos demostrar que este prospecto puede leerse como un manifiesto fundacional, en el que se recuperan recursos formales y discursivos propios de los manifiestos de vanguardia para resignificarlos en el marco de una publicación doctrinaria. Con este manifiesto la revista busca constituir una identidad enunciativa para posicionarse en dos frentes: respecto a la red de revistas que circulaban en las primeras décadas del siglo y respecto a la institución eclesiástica. A partir del análisis se sostiene que mediante este manifiesto la revista Criterio se presenta como órgano del renacimiento católico argentino de la década del veinte. ABSTRACT: Criterio, magazine which runs from 1928 until now, is the most influential and prestigious argentine catholic magazine of the twentieth century. Before the first issue, the publishers distributed a leaflet to advertise, to introduce the staff directors and outline his method, his doctrine and the movement that responded. This prospectus can be read like a manifesto of a doctrinaire catholic publication, though containing formal and discursive devices stemming from the vanguard manifesto. With this manifesto, Criterio looks forwards to constituting an identity which would position it in two fronts— the network of magazines that circulated in the first decades of twentieth century and the ecclesiastical institution, on the other hand. Our analysis will eventually lead us to maintain that by means of this manifesto Criterio seeks to appear like the organ of the argentine catholic renaissance of the twenties. | |
