| dc.description | Le monde des campagnes corse sarrive au XVIIIe siècle à l'apogée du processus de transformations qui, sur la longue durée, a vu les progrès de l'individualisme agraire au bénéfice des Principali, desnotables. Ces évolutions témoignent du passage d'une économie pastorale à une économie à dominante agricole avec sédentarisation des populations. Cette dernière contribue, comme la lente disparition des biens communaux, à déstabiliser la vie des communautés rurales contraintes de fixer leurs limites, leurs frontières.
