The objective of this research is to analyze literatura and especially the various writers present in the documentary series Biografía, broadcast by Televisión Española between 1967 and 1973. The result provides a holistic view of television as a reflection of culture in a specific period: the last years of the Francoism, through the broadcast of 16 chapters dedicated to synthesizing the life and work of writers who stood out in their professional careers in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is shown that Biografía presented a masculine world of internationally recognized intellectuals and that it innovated the documentary by contributing elements of television, such as the gathering.El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la literatura y sobre todo a los diversos literatos presentes en la serie documental Biografía, emitida por Televisión Española desde 1967 hasta 1973. El resultado proporciona una visión holística de la televisión como reflejo de cultura en un periodo concreto: los últimos años del franquismo, a través de la emisión de 16 capítulos dedicados a sintetizar la vida y obra de literatos que destacaron en sus trayectorias profesionales en los siglos XIX y XX. Se demuestra que Biografía presentó un mundo masculino de intelectuales, reconocidos internacionalmente y que innovó el documental aportando elementos propios de la televisión, como la tertulia.
