Between 1909 and 1939 Barcelona saw the development of the profession of photojournalist in a context of evolution and consolidation of press photography, which culminated during the Second Republic and reached its peak in the Spanish Civil War. A huge legacy, part of which has been preserved to the present day. This article focuses on the authors, characteristics and conditions of accessibility of the most important collections held by different public archives.Entre 1909 y 1939 Barcelona vivió el desarrollo del oficio de reportero gráfico en un contexto de evolución y consolidación del fotoperiodismo, que culminó durante la II República y tuvo en la Guerra Civil el momento de máximo esplendor. Un legado ingente del cual una parte se ha conservado hasta hoy. Este artículo se centra en los autores, características y condiciones de accesibilidad de los fondos más importantes custodiados por diferentes archivos públicos.
