This case study on the development of transcultural translation in evangelization shows strategies and criteria used by Catholic religious to translate the Eucharistic bread and wine to the Nahuatl speaker people between the 16th and 19th centuries.
En este estudio de caso sobre el desarrollo de la traducción transcultural en la evangelización, se presentan las estrategias y criterios que emplearon los religiosos católicos para traducir el pan y el vino eucarístico a la población nahuahablante entre los siglos XVI y XIX.
