| dc.description | The article analyzes the reinterpretation and adaptation of the discourse of human rights among the Mapuche. The analysis uses the comparison between the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Spanish and a translation to Spanish of the official version in the language of the Mapuche (Mapuzungun) to detect and interpret the specificity of the Mapuche concepts, integrating them in the notion of Az Mapu and considering them in the context of conflict with the Chilean state. The agreements with the results of a previous retranslation from Tzeltal to Spanish, authored by Pedro Pitarch, lead to suggest a number of notions potentially distinctive of Amerindian peoples in general. | en-US |

El análisis se sirve de la comparación entre la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos en castellano y una retraducción al castellano de la versión oficial en la lengua de los mapuche (mapuzungun) para detectar e interpretar la especificidad de los conceptos mapuche, integrándolos en la noción de Az Mapu y considerándolos en el contexto de pugna con el Estado chileno. Las coincidencias con los resultados de un anterior ejercicio de retraducción desde el tzeltal, realizado por Pedro Pitarch, conducen al planteamiento de una serie de nociones potencialmente propias de los pueblos amerindios en general. | es-ES |
